Women’s Mental Health & Postpartum Counseling — A Safe Space, Just for You

Compassionate telehealth therapy for women across Texas — postpartum depression, infertility, identity, burnout, and the complex emotional terrain of womanhood.

You are allowed to need support

Carrying it all — and finally putting some of it down

Women are often expected to hold enormous amounts — careers, caregiving, relationships, grief, fertility struggles, the transition into or out of motherhood — while appearing fine. The pressure to manage it gracefully and quietly can make it hard to ask for help, or even to admit how much you are carrying.

My work with women centers on exactly that: creating a space where none of it has to be minimized, performed, or explained away. Where you can be as complicated, as tired, as uncertain, and as strong as you actually are.

All sessions are conducted via secure telehealth, available anywhere in Texas.

Postpartum support

You are not a bad parent — you are overwhelmed

Postpartum depression and anxiety affect approximately 1 in 5 new mothers, and yet the stigma around it means many women suffer alone, convinced that their feelings mean something terrible about them. They do not.

Signs that you might benefit from postpartum support include:

  • Persistent sadness or emptiness
  • Feeling detached from your baby
  • Intense anxiety or intrusive thoughts
  • Rage or irritability that feels out of character
  • Guilt or shame about how you are feeling
  • Difficulty sleeping even when the baby sleeps
  • Loss of appetite or interest in things you once enjoyed
  • Feeling like you are failing at motherhood

These are signs that you need support — not signs of weakness or failure. Sessions are conducted via telehealth so you can attend from home, with or without the baby nearby.

Common questions

What you might be wondering

Is postpartum depression a sign I am a bad mother?

No. Postpartum depression and anxiety are medical conditions influenced by hormonal changes, sleep deprivation, and the enormity of the transition to parenthood. Experiencing them says nothing about the love you have for your child.

Can I attend sessions with a newborn?

Yes. Because sessions are conducted via telehealth, you can attend from home. Feed the baby, pause if you need to — we make it work.

Do you work with pregnancy loss and infertility grief?

Absolutely. Infertility, miscarriage, and stillbirth carry real grief that is often invisible to the outside world. This is a safe space for all of it.

Do I need a diagnosis to receive women’s mental health therapy?

No diagnosis is required. If you are struggling — with your identity, your relationships, your sense of self — that is enough to begin.

What does it cost?

Sessions are $60 for 45 minutes. A sliding scale is available — please ask. The first 15-minute consultation is always free.
